Road Closure - A361 at Welsh Road - 26th to 29th June

We've been informed of a full closure of the A361 this coming weekend. The closure works will begin Friday 26th June and will continue over the weekend until the morning of Monday 29nd June 2020.

Car Park area to be closed - 18/06/20

The triangular parking area near to the village hall will be closed from 8am tomorrow (Thursday 18th June) to allow work to be carried on the shrub borders and hedges. It will remain closed for one working day. Please can all vehicles which are parked there over night must be removed before 8am on the 18th. Overnight Road Closures - A361

Overnight closures will take place from mid-July and complete in early August 2020. There will be continued weekday lane closures until August 2020.

As part of continuing work there are a range of highway improvements being undertaken which include:

  • widening the existing road at three bends on the A361
  • installing a puffin pedestrian crossing
