Children's Play Park

picture of a closed playpark

In line with Government guidelines the playground was closed in order to prevent the possibility of spreading Covid19. Since then, there has been an easing of lockdown restrictions and a consultation about reopening the play area was issued last week.Despite the government including children's playgrounds among the facilities that could re-open on July 4th there are very firm insurance criteria to be met before the playground can re-open, such as limiting the number of people that can use the equipment at any one time and cleaning it after use.A decision will be made at the Parish Council meeting on 9th July. In the meantime the playground should remain unused in the best interests of all young people.Thank you for your understanding and co-operation.
