Fraudsters pretending to be police officers are repeatedly targeting the elderly in Northamptonshire.

Over the past few months, a number of incidents have taken place across the county where fraudsters have pretended to be police officers conducting covert investigations in order to gain the trust of elderly people with the aim of scamming them out of their money.

Road Closures - A361 at Chipping Warden during Sept & Oct

There will be a series of full road closures on the A361 over weekends in September and October, from 8pm Friday night to 6am Monday morning. These are in the area of the south and north tie in's of the new relief road by Chipping Warden on the A361.

An important message from the Northamptonshire COVID-19 Strategic Co-ordination Centre:

'Northampton Borough has seen a marked increase in covid-19 cases and has been added to the Government's watch list as "an area of intervention". Gas mains works - Woodford Road, August 2020

We have been notified by Southern Gas advising of remedial works required following the gas mains replacement.The work in Woodford Halse is planned for 19th to 22nd August with two-way traffic lights.The work in Byfield is planned for Sunday 23rd August with 'stop and go' boards being used for traffic control.
