Road Closure - A361 at Chipping Warden

A reminder that that there will be a full closure of A361 at Chipping Warden this coming weekend (from 8pm on 29/05/20 to 6am on 01/06/20), This closure is the final part of 3 consecutive weekends of road closures.

Annual Parish Meeting 2020

In England, the annual parish meeting ('APM') of a parish, with a parish council, must take place between 1 March and 1 June.

The 2020 APM for Byfield was originally scheduled for 26th March but cancelled because of the COVID 19 outbreak and rescheduled for 28th May. Emergency legislation allowed for the postponement of local elections but omitted to cover the mandatory requirement to have an APM.

Keeping themselves busy during Lockdown, Parishions Rob Lowe, his son Dan, Geoff Broad and Paul Franklin have made a fabulous match day bench for use when the season finally starts.The idea came from my Rob's son Dan who saw something similar on eBay.The bats are all donated by Club members who have replaced their bats.The handles were re-gripped in Byfield Cricket Club colours.The bench was collected... Road Closure - A361 at Chipping Warden

A reminder that that there will be a full closure of A361 at Chipping Warden this coming weekend (from 8pm on 22/05/20 to 6am on 25/05/20), This closure is part of 3 consecutive weekends of road closures, with a further one taking place next weekend (28/05/20 to 30/05/20).

Road Closure - A361 at Chipping Warden

We've been informed by HS2 that there will be a full closure of A361 at Chipping Warden this coming weekend (15/05/20 to 18/05/20), from Friday night 8pm until 6am Monday. This closure will happen for the next 3 consecutive weekends. 21/05/20 to 23/05/20 and 28/05/20 to 30/05/20.

Please see attached details of proposed works for this coming weekend.
